Battersea Bus Terminal has been proposed by REARC at the initial stage of the scheme by demonstrates shape morphology and structural solution which will be able to serve up to 10,000 people in a daily basis. Space frame structure has been chosen because of it’s benefits of covering big span area without the need of internal columns and also by providing freedom of design.

Space Frame is a rigid, lightweight, truss-like structure constructed from interlocking struts in a geometric pattern. We satisfy the need for unusual requirements centered on three dimensional truss system designs that accommodate the criteria for irregular shapes and/or column placements.

One of the prime reason for the growing popularity of this technology is the systems is the ability to modify the utilization of space by providing freedom of movement. This is achieved through column-free construction. This structure might be lightweight, but can carry a much heavier load with a huge spanning capacity. The system can be arranged in a flat or curved shape that enhances the design flexibility of a structure and ensures load transfer
